Newport City Council have reinstated the refurbished dragonfly sculpture in the pound at Fourteen Locks Canal Centre.
The tail has been repaired and the sculpture cleaned and now looked resplendent in the beautiful sunshine this week.
The work carried out to repair the pond also looks good, and we have water, so we are all set for a good summer.
Just a reminder that access to the Centre is only from the Cwmbran side. Coming from Newport or Risca access is via Ruskin Avenue and following the diversions to Cwm Lane. We are hoping that this is not going to be too much longer before we are back to normal.
