Edith Elizabeth at Goytre Wharf

Our boat operation is restricted because of Covid19. We will only be running Edith-Elizabeth pictured above which is an open-sided craft. Please check below for the days that we will be operating. Please check back on this page that the boat is running on your chosen day before you travel to Goytre Wharf.

Information for our 2021 Boat Trips

We are currently only running our open-sided craft “Edith-Elizabeth” from Goytre Wharf. We will publicise in advance below which days we will be running. We are running the boat Wednesday through to Sunday every week through the school holidays, and on the August Bank Holiday Monday, but this is dependent on suitable weather, and sufficient volunteers being available to run the boat.

Please check back on this page below that the boat is running on your chosen day before you travel to Goytre Wharf. You can find how to get to Goytre Wharf on our Goytre Wharf visitor information page.

The Edith-Elizabeth will normally run from 10:30am to 3:30pm on the days that it is running. You don’t need to book in advance. However, when you arrive please contact our on-shore crew who will advise which time slots are available. You will need to pay in advance for your trip, and we will issue you tickets for your reserved slot. On busy days all of the time slots are often reserved by lunch-time and unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate you. There is lots to do at Goytre Wharf whilst you wait for your trip.

“Edith-Elizabeth” is split into 2 sections. It has a maximum capacity of 10 people.

The cost is £3 per adult, £2 per child for a 30 minute trip. Please pay before you board.

We welcome well-behaved dogs onto our boats.

If you have a pram or pushchair you can leave it with our on-shore crew.

If you have reduced mobility then you may find getting on and off our boat difficult as the boat does wobble side to side. Our crew will assist you if you wish.

We don’t currently have plans to run our larger enclosed boat Lord Raglan but are constantly assessing whether we are able to operate Lord Raglan under current Covid19 regulations. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be able to discuss with you what we are able to do.

Our Boats are Licenced to run passenger services and are operated by trained and qualified volunteers. For your added safety, our boats are equipped with life-buoys.

Click on an entry below for more information. If nothing is listed then we don’t currently have any trips scheduled, but please check back for updates. You cannot currently book online. Please pay on arrival for your chosen trip.
